I was recently working with Emily Cade styling the most recent Moroccan rug collection when she tossed Tanner into her bathroom and something changed for me.
Ok well, a couple of things changed for me in that moment - 1. I've always been a fan of low pile vintage rugs in bathrooms, but had never considered a larger sized, high pile fluffy Moroccan. But it makes perfect sense, I mean what would feel better on a cold winter morning than a soft cushy landing pad for your feet, while you move through your morning routine?! And 2. Mixing brown and grey? I don't know why I'd never considered that combination but man I love how it works together and now I've started incorporating more brown and warmer tones in my house which is mostly black and white (cool tones).
