If you're wondering about my journey and how this whole adventure started you can read it all over at 'The Designer'. But this is the very first chair I ever worked on, it was where my love for antiques met with my passion for modern design and textiles.
This was the spark that lit the fire.

I stripped down the fabric and then stripped the wood to remove the old stain (which is usually what makes furniture look old and dated). I loved the raw wood with the uneven finish so I left it as is and just oiled it up. And of course a great black and white geometric pattern is the fastest way to a modern look. This balance between modern and antique is my favourite space to find.
