Large Vintage Turkish Rug
Primary colours are Ivory, super faded and subtle neutrals, pinks, blues, taupe, and purple.
Cotton foundation, medium Wool pile. Hand knotted. Soft and floppy.

This rug is vintage. Please refer to photos for condition. I do my best to photograph the rugs in natural light but colours may look different in artificial light or what is shown on your screen. Due to the handmade nature and age, rugs may show discrepancies such as repairs, wear, fading, discolouration etc. I do my best to show all these highlights in the photos in this listing. These unique characteristics are what make vintage rugs so unique and give them the character. I have a huge respect for the history of these textiles and do not consider them defects. All sales are final.
All of our textiles are washed before shipment. If you find your wool rug has a musty odour try laying it out in the sun and fresh air. Wool tends to absorb humidity which can occur in packaging, showers, or accidents. Once thoroughly dried in the sun you can bring indoors and sprinkle with baking soda, allow it to sit for a few hours then vacuum gently on both sides.
